This policy explains what personal information tiviTea (“we”, “us”) collects when you use our website and our apps for Android and iOS, why we collect it, who can see it, and what you can do about it. tiviTea is for people in Nigeria, and this policy applies to users in Nigeria. We are responsible for your information and follow the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023. Our address is No 8, Akinyomi street, Victoria Island, Lagos, Nigeria, and you can write to us at admin@tivitea.africa.

Collected automatically
Like any website or app, our servers receive technical information when you use them, such as your IP address, the kind of browser or device you use and the pages you ask for. We use it to run and protect the service. Section 5 explains cookies.
Payments
You pay on the secure page of our payment provider, Paystack. Your card details are entered there, not on tiviTea's own pages.
2. What other people can see
- Listings: the owner's name, phone number and email address are shown on the listing page, so customers can contact them.
- Artisan profiles: name, service, summary, photos and videos of their work, and the reviews customers have written.
- When you book, rent or buy: the owner, artisan or seller sees your name, photo and the details of the booking or order so they can serve you.
- Chat: only the two people in the conversation can read it.
3. How we use your information
- To create and run your account, and to check your identity and keep the platform safe and free of fraud.
- To handle bookings, rentals, orders, payments and payouts, and to connect customers, owners and artisans.
- To answer your messages and give you support.
- To send you messages about your account and activity, such as booking confirmations and security notices.
- To improve tiviTea.
- To meet our legal duties.
We use your information because we need it to give you the service you asked for, because we have a good reason to keep tiviTea secure and working well, because the law requires it, or because you agreed. We do not send marketing emails.
4. Who else receives it
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with:
- Other users, as described in section 2.
- Paystack, which processes payments.
- Cloudinary, where the pictures and videos you upload are stored and delivered from.

- The companies that host our service and send our emails, who may only use your information to do that.
- The authorities, when the law requires it or to protect the rights and safety of our users and of tiviTea.
Some of these providers, such as Cloudinary and Google, process information in other countries. When your information is processed outside Nigeria we take steps to make sure it is still protected as the law requires.
